- Connecting the present to the future through materials
As the only chemicals manufacturer in the DNP Group, our company does our part to contribute to initiatives in line with the DNP brand statement—“Creating future standards.” Ever since our establishment in 1891 as Japan’s first printing ink manufacturer, our business has expanded in tandem with the growth of Japanese society. In 2009, DNP separated domestic printing ink—one of the Group’s major businesses—from its core, newly launching it as the current DNP Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd.
Drawing on our color- and function-related technologies, which we have developed over many years in the business, we are currently involved in functional materials development. We offer an integrated system of services entirely in-house, spanning formulation design to synthesis, dispersion, and more, in order to precisely address customer needs with product development.
Taiwa (dialogue) is one of our key value. It goes without saying that Taiwa within our company is essential, but we also need to engage in dialogue with our customers and suppliers. In so doing, we interact on social issues and engender new value together, contributing to a sustainable, better society and well-being lives. Our ultimate goal is to forge a better future through these achievements.
