DNP Selected as Component Member of DJSI World 2024

Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP), December 24, is pleased to announce our incorporation as a 2024 component stock of the DJSI World Index. 

Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) is a stock index jointly developed in 1999 by S&P Dow Jones Indices, a US index provider, and RobecoSAM, a Swiss Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) rating company. In 2024, more than 3,500 major companies around the world were surveyed for sustainability from the three perspectives of Economy, the Environment along with the Social Dimensions of their operations, with the top performing companies selected as component stocks. Some 321 companies, including 37 Japanese companies, from 62 industries were selected for the DJSI World Index.

In recognition of our long-standing environmental initiatives, DNP received high marks in categories such as Climate Strategy, Energy, Waste and Pollutants, Water, and Environmental Policy & Management. We were also highly rated in a wide range of other areas, including social and governance standpoints, such as Occupational Health & Safety, Business Ethics, Supply Chain Management, and Human Capital Management.
